QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; Four years related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and 12-18 months management experience.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in JAVA (J2EE) programming language.

 DESCRIPTION:

Using object oriented programming languages; the incumbent plays a key role in the development and installation of computer applications.  The incumbent determines technical user requirements by working with their assigned customer and participates in project planning, analysis, design, coding, code review, unit/system testing, test scripting, and installation of software applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Produce effective, highly reusable/maintainable software applications by using best practices, design patterns, and OOAD methodology.
• Resolve critical technical problems under pressure and significant time restraints.
• Meet with clients to analyze, gather, and document user requirements; paying special attention to Interfaces with other systems.
• Determine project scope and risk factors.
• Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communicate with all project stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Participate in code reviews, shared modules, reusable components and various enterprise architectural decisions.
• Perform unit and system testing.
• Create and maintain test scripts.
• Prepare user documents and train new users on software applications.
• Provide on call support as needed.

Job Summary:

The UI/UX Developer is responsible for web application development for an exciting new project. In this role, you must demonstrate good UI development best-practices as well as have an eye for user interaction and code maintainability. You should have experience working in collaborative environments and be able to work with system architects as well as business owners. You will also participate as a member of an iterative development team of software developers and QA engineers during the design, implementation, integration, testing, and successful delivery of our software. You must enjoy taking initiative and being innovative.
