Dave Gandy
Founder and CEO, Font Awesome
Dave is the founder and CEO of Font Awesome. He grew up in Carl Junction, MO before attending college at MIT where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Before Font Awesome, Dave worked at Endeca (big data before it was big data, sold to Oracle for 1.1B) and Kyruus (big data healthcare) as a lead designer.
Aavron Estep
Research Assistant, Electrical Engineering, OSU
Originally from Heldelberg, Germany, Aavron Estep is currently a Research Assistant for OSU and studies Electrical Engineering. In 2015, he did a TED Talk about using 3D printers on Mars. He has led multiple research projects funded by NASA and NOAA including the CLOUD-MAP project, focused on utilizing UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) with sensors that measures data to improve our understanding of the physics of the atmosphere. In his free time, you’ll catch Aavron climbing Colorado mountains, snowboarding, and back backing with his 5 and 7 year old sons. He is very passionate about educating youth in STEM.

Chris has 16 years of leadership and software development experience. He previously served as the VP of Technology at ATLAS, which was a small startup of 5 people when he joined. He also built the booking platform for Pan Am’s startup jet charter division, and rebooted Stubs.net while still he was still at ATLAS. He’s is now at J.B. Hunt as an I.T. director, and continues to be the sole proprietor of Stubs.net.
